In the 12 episodes of this podcast, we talked to Roma from all over Europe - and beyond - about their lives, their experiences and their utopias. We have been surprised, challenged, inspired, entertained and gifted. In this extra episode, we revisit our encounters with all these wonderful people, reminisce and discuss our own utopias.

The hosts:
William Bila - Bill - is living in Paris, is President of the French NGO La Voix des Rroms and member of the board of Roma Education Support Trust in the UK, the Center for Intersectional Justice in Berlin. He graduated with a BS in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago – his career spans both the corporate and the non-profit world.

Isabel Raabe is living in Berlin, works as a freelance curator and cultural producer, studied dance in Berlin and New York and later cultural management in Berlin. Together with Franziska Sauerbrey they curated and produced cultural projects on topics that moved them: exhibitions, installations, theatre festivals – always in an international context. “RomArchive – Digital Archive of the Roma“, which was funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation for five years, went online in 2019 and won the European Cultural Heritage Award in 2019 and the Grimme Online Award 2020. She says that in her curatorial work she is interested in artistic and curatorial strategies that disrupt Western perspectives and traditions of thought.
